Women Economic Forum I Italy

About us
Empowering Women Together
A Platform for Leadership and Collaboration
Women Economic Forum Italia is the official Italian chapter of the Women Economic Forum (WEF), one of the world’s largest global platforms dedicated to advancing women’s leadership, entrepreneurship and economic participation.
Founded by Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai and active in more than 150 countries, WEF connects leaders across sectors to foster dialogue, collaboration and opportunities that create lasting impact.
Established in 2023, Women Economic Forum Italia brings this global vision to Italy, bringing together leaders, entrepreneurs, institutions, investors, academics and changemakers to strengthen women’s leadership and contribute to a more inclusive, competitive and resilient society.
WEF 26 Lands in Torino
Every year, the Forum arrives in a different Italian city, chosen to bring a different regional lens to the same mission. This year, it's Turin — hosted at OGR, the city's former railway workshops turned into one of Italy's most striking cultural and innovation spaces.

Beyond the Forum
The annual Women Economic Forum Italia is our flagship gathering, but it is only one expression of a broader, year-round platform.
Throughout the year, we bring together leaders from business, institutions, academia, finance, culture and civil society to foster dialogue, strengthen relationships and catalyse cross-sector collaboration.
Through conferences, executive roundtables, networking events, international delegations, workshops and strategic initiatives, we create opportunities for ideas to become partnerships, projects and long-term impact.
Our ambition is to build an ecosystem where leadership is cultivated, collaboration happens naturally and meaningful change continues long after the Forum has ended.

Our Leadership
Women Economic Forum Italia is guided by a Board each responsible for one of the Forum’s thematic areas.
Bringing together expertise from business, finance, technology, health, sustainability, culture, education and other strategic sectors, each chair curates the vision, content and network for their respective track, ensuring that every edition of the Forum reflects the most relevant opportunities, challenges and emerging conversations.
Together, they contribute to shaping an interdisciplinary programme that connects ideas, industries and people, while helping build meaningful collaborations that extend well beyond the Forum itself.

G100
Global Connections, Italian Perspective
Women Economic Forum is part of the international ecosystem founded by Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai, which also includes G100. This separate global platform brings together women leaders across 100 sectors and over 150 countries to foster international collaboration and action. While independent initiatives, WEF and G100 share the same vision of advancing inclusive leadership, cross-sector dialogue and global cooperation.
G100 is also home to the Denim Club: male allies from business, politics and industry who advocate for gender equity within their own organisations, working alongside G100's Wings to turn advocacy into policy.
