Monica Lucarelli

Monica Lucarelli is a mechanical engineer, manager and public administrator with more than 25 years of experience in innovation, sustainability and public-private governance. She is Founder and CEO of Ipazia Invest.

From 2021 to 2026, as Councillor for Economic Development, Investment Attraction and Equal Opportunities for Roma Capitale, she coordinated policies on commerce, urban security, cybersecurity and innovation, including the Houses of Emerging Technologies network, as well as initiatives to empower young people and women.

In the private sector, she served as CEO and Sustainability Director of Passoni Titanio SB, leading its transition to a benefit corporation. For more than a decade, she was a board member and Commercial Director of ISED S.p.A., an ICT company serving public administration. She also worked as a sustainability adviser at NTV-Italo and a project manager at Fiat Auto.

Active in business associations, she served as President of the Young Entrepreneurs of the Rome Industrial Union. She holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, an MBA from Tor Vergata University and a master's degree in ethics in institutional relations from the European University of Rome. Her work combines technical and institutional expertise with a focus on responsible innovation.
