Paksy Plackis-Cheng

Paksy Plackis-Cheng is an expert strategist, researcher, and executive working at the intersection of frontier technology, public policy, and machine-to-machine (M2M) economies.
Currently, she serves as the Vice President of Commercial Growth at Accelevate Solutions, where she drives the adoption of AI-driven logistics and advanced fleet management platforms.
Throughout her career, Plackis-Cheng has focused on the societal impact of emerging technologies. As an expert researcher for the European consortium FINDHR, she contributes to mitigating discrimination and ensuring fairness in algorithmic hiring and workplace recommendation systems.
Driven by a passion for social impact, she founded impactmania, an educational and research platform that documents and connects global cultural and social changemakers. Her entrepreneurial drive also led her to co-found Staex GmbH, a deep-tech Web3 infrastructure startup for autonomous drone corridors, which won the prestigious Berlin State Deep Tech Award 2024.
An alumnus of Erasmus University Rotterdam, her cross-disciplinary work has earned her public diplomacy grants from the U.S. Embassy and a Senior Fellowship at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She is also the author of Women of Impact and Digital Nomads.
